About Aegis Care

Aegis Care was established in Salford in 1994, and is registered with The Care Quality Commission.

Aegis Care specialises in providing support workers and personal assistants to those in need throughout the Salford area of Greater Manchester. Our aim is to provide staff that are reliable and familiar to the people they support, so that a working relationship can develop. We accept a variety of funding sources such as Direct Payments and The Independent Living Fund and we support Personalisation.

Our support workers are flexible and independent when making decisions, and enjoy working towards goals that promote independence. A knowledge of mental and physical health problems and risks are standard requirements for all our staff, along with the ability to work closely with other agencies.
