Support Worker Full time or Part time (16-40 hrs per
week). Mostly 9-5 Monday to Friday. Rate of
Pay To provide support and assistance to
people in their own homes in the Salford area. Duties
include emotional support, practical help, support in the
community, linking in to other services, shopping,
attending appointments, social activities. The successful candidate will be a caring
person who is well organised, a good communicator and has
a full UK driving licence and their own car.
Ideally they will have some experience in the
care sector, although newcomers to the care sector will be
considered. Two satisfactory employment references will be
required. Training is available in fundamental
support skills, NVQ in Care and Mental Health Awareness.
On the job support and supervision are an integral part of
personal development. Managers have significant and
longstanding experience in this sector and personal
development is highly valued.
